What can you expect from this training?

  • Your mind: you primarily look at your ways of thinking (convictions and assumptions) and how these either help or sabotage in the way you feel work-pressure. You make a personal energy-workplan, which you fill in in a step-by-step fashion, during the training, in order to introduce more balance in your day.
  • Your energy: you will come into physical action and discover the significant influence of physical energy on the brain. You will do mindfulness exercises and will feel more relaxed, instantaneously.
  • Your environment: learn how to design your environment in such a way, that it will give energy instead of taking it. You learn how to increasingly become owner of your activities and how to set priorities throughout your working day.

Mindful at Work

Working mindfully through time-management and focus

‘Busy busy busy’; it has become our standard answer when we are asked how we are doing. Nearly 2.7 million employees in the Netherlands are faced with high work-pressure. According to the department of Social Affairs and Employment, stress is the number 1 work-related illness.

Being busy is addictive, but is not productive and even unhealthy. An overload of information, tighter deadlines and less time for repose make us lose sight of ourselves. Our work goes faster, but our brains are not as quick in their development. This will be taxing on our work and our health.

Important qualities for employees are indeed focus and attention. How can you direct your attention to the right things, in order to save more time and deliver better work? During Restful Head, you will learn how to balance your energy in order to increase your personal effectiveness, quality of work and job satisfaction.

What are you capable of after having finished this training?

  • You feel more focus and tranquillity in your tasks, thus alleviating stress and preventing burn-out
  • You know how you can strike a balance in the activities that nurture and take your energy
  • You know which technique you can apply to stop worrying and procrastinating
  • You are a better advocate for yourself and are better capable of setting boundaries, so others don’t take ‘advantage’ and you allow less rush from external factors

Set-up training

This training has a personal character, which gives you the opportunity to introduce situations from your own life as an example in the group. In addition, you will fill in a number of intake questions about your needs, so the trainer can prepare for these.

You will do a lot of active exercises with various assignments during this presentation training, individually, 1-on-1 and in a group. We believe that Fun Works and that’s why the working methods are not only effective but also surprising, interactive and always with a positive approach.

The training in a classroom setting is paired with challenges. This is what we call a learning track. Challenges are short active assignments, which you will receive after the training and which help you in practicing your new behaviour. Here you can find more information about the challenges.
