It is strange that we have never really learned to work. In the GRIP training you learn step by step how to work smarter (online) and how to get a grip on your agenda, task list and mailbox.

Job training has developed the GRIP training in collaboration with Rick Pastoor. Rick, formerly “in-house boss” at Blendle wrote the bestseller GRIP; the secret to working smart. In the training you learn to apply the smart GRIP method step by step to your work and life.

This is GRIP:

  • How you become (and remain) in charge of your mailbox
  • How to use your agenda for less stress and direction in your work
  • Why you should never keep anything in your head again
  • How a weekly appointment with yourself doubles your productivity
  • How to find a mentor and ask smarter for advice
  • How to solve complex problems
  • How to make an annual plan so that you achieve more of your goals

What can you expect from this training?

In this learning track, classroom training sessions are combined with challenges. Challenges are short assignments that you receive after training and that you can do at home. A great way to permanently work on a grip on your work.

The training is tailored to your specific questions and wishes. This way you can bring situations from your own life into the group as an example. In addition, you complete an intake questionnaire about your needs in advance, so that the trainer can prepare for this.

GRIP on your agenda

We start with your agenda. Does everything you have to do not fit into your agenda? That hits exactly the core: your agenda is finite and that is great. That means that you will have to choose. In this section you are going to eliminate things right away. You organize your agenda in a smart way, which immediately gives you more overview and effectiveness. This gives you more control over the hours you can spend in your working week.

GRIP on your tasks

Your head is for new ideas, not the storage of tasks. And that’s why we’ll never keep anything in our heads from now on. You install and set up your digital task list. You map out your responsibilities and priorities. Anything that comes to mind that is not on your agenda for this week, you put in your to-do list. Whether it has to be done today, tomorrow or in a year.

GRIP on your mailbox

Email is a great medium. It almost always works flawlessly. But it is also addictive and it never stops. You schedule fixed moments for email and all other external messages and learn how to handle email quickly and effectively. You turn off notifications, unsubscribe from newsletters and learn how to write proactive emails.

Rob is een energieke trainer die grote groepen op een natuurlijke wijze meekrijgt. Zijn enthousiasme is aanstekelijk. Na meer dan 25 jaar management ervaring in Retail/Wholesale heeft hij gezien wat er kan gebeuren met werkgevers en werknemers op alle niveaus in grote organisaties. De afstand tussen het individu en de missie van de onderneming wordt steeds groter en de omgang onpersoonlijker. Na een sabbatical heeft hij zijn carrière verrijkt door 3 opleidingen te volgen, te weten: Professioneel Trainer, Outdoor/Wandelcoaching en Psychosociaal Counselor.</p>
<p><b>Wat vind jij het leukst aan je werk?</b><br />
Ik merk dat ik het energieveld dat tijdens de trainingen ontstaat tussen de deelnemers en mij als ontzettend plezierig ervaar. Als er voldoende energie ontstaat komt er vanzelfsprekend beweging in het vermogen om te adapteren. Het resultaat is….uit de comfortzone stappen, met als gevolg vernieuwd denken en handelen. Dat in combinatie met een flinke dosis humor en de training is compleet.</p>

<p><b>Wat is jouw grootste talent als trainer?</b><br />
Onder alle omstandigheden een verbinding maken met humor, zie ik als mijn grootste talent. Ik neem kinderen altijd als voorbeeld, ze lachen gemiddeld 7 maal meer dan volwassenen, maken gemakkelijk vriendjes/vriendinnetjes en kunnen veel informatie opnemen.</p>
<p><b>Kun je iets verrassends vertellen over jezelf?</b><br />
Ik wilde vroeger boswachter worden….en dan het liefste in de Alpen. De natuur geeft zoveel inspiratie en rust.</p>
