The better employees connect with their stakeholders, the greater the chances of success. In this training, employees learn to build, maintain and strengthen relationships. They discover how to get stakeholders excited about the project or organisation with an engaged and proactive approach.They develop the skills to set boundaries, check assumptions, manage expectations and give unsolicited advice.

What can you expect from this training?

Identify stakeholders
You identify and analyze your stakeholders. What influence do your stakeholders have? What is their importance? And when should they be involved in your project? With the help of the Power-Interest matrix, you get a clear picture of who you are dealing with and what needs each stakeholder has.

Meetings with stakeholders
How do you communicate to and with stakeholders and what do you communicate at what strategic moment? You will learn about the importance of listening, summarizing, asking questions, but also the importance of early information, managing expectations and creating clarity.

Practicing conversations
You practice stakeholder conversations with a training actor. For example, how do you deal with resistance? How do you convince a stakeholder? You bring in a case from your own work practice. You will learn how to build relationships from trust and equality.
