The feeling of losing your grip on your work can be paralysing. And then just try to get your work done. No wonder you sometimes experience stress. In this training you learn to choose where to spend your time. You learn to create peace and space for more ambitious (work) goals and dreams. How? By getting a grip on things in the here and now. How? With the practical GRIP approach to working smarter.
We developed the Time management & GRIP training together with Rick Pastoor, author of the book of the same name, which has sold more than 110,000 copies. For this, Rick took David Allen’s ‘Getting things done’ method as a starting point and made it easier to apply to work, using a more integral approach and more modern tools.
What can you expect from this training?

Grip on agenda
We’ll start with your agenda. Your agenda is limited, and that’s great. This means you have to make choices. In this section you cancel things directly. This is how you organize your calendar smartly and get more overview and clout.

Grip on tasks
Your head is for new ideas, not tasks. That’s why we don’t keep anything in our heads anymore. Install your digital to-do list and map out responsibilities and priorities. Anything not in your calendar, put it in your to-do list.

Grip on messages
Replying to messages (WhatsApp, Slack, email) can be addictive and distract you from your personal goals. Schedule set times for these messages and learn to handle them quickly and effectively. Turn off notifications, unsubscribe from newsletters and learn to write proactively.

Weekly review
The review is the safety net under your week.You look back on your week and clean up the loose ends that have been left. Then you make a plan for the week ahead.

Getting a grip on your year
Having a grip on your week creates room for bigger dreams. Map out what you are excited to get up for and spend more time on that. Create your personal annual plan with challenging goals and concrete actions, and schedule them immediately.
